The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line resort in Labadee, Haiti has a magnificent facility that services many thousands of guests each week. As the cruise ships docked and the passengers strolled along the pier, our team of expert divers were floating in the water beneath them, hard at work wrapping the massive pilings. We used the SeaShield System to preserve and protect the pilings from the harmful wake that is generated by the rough waters. And speaking of rough waters…The team undertook an additional project of placing Reef Balls parallel to the coastline to act as a wave barrier and ensure the tranquility of the lagoon. We maneuvered dozens of the concrete balls into place, mobilizing them from land into the water and then carried/floated them with lift bags to their designated spot.
