A stunning Miami home with a breathtaking view of the bay had an old and failing dock that need some TLC. The frame was still strong and viable, but the top decking was worn and had to go.
We replaced 2,000 Sq Feet of decking with new marine grade 2″X6″ rounded decking. The hardware connecting cross beams were replaced with S’S brackets and all bolt heads and bolt threads were rust treated with Life Guard rust converter & primer followed by a heavy coat of Coal Tar Epoxy. Wherever possible we work with the client and try to save the existing infrastructure but in this case two of the marine pilings were too badly damaged to use and had to be replaced.
Once all this was completed, the client decided to add a couple of Candock jet ski floating docks which we assembled and installed as well.
